Janelle LaSalle is a singer, songwriter, model, dancer, and actress from the San Francisco Bay Area. She has performed throughout the country, including performing with legendary artists such as Shalamar's Jody Watley and Howard Hewett, Michael Henderson, Tower of Power’s Lenny Williams, Miki Howard, and many others.
After connecting with Grammy-Nominated music producer, Prince “BlkMagic” Damons, her single, "Can't get right” received national radio play and led to a promotional tour. Her follow up single, "The Truth," has been featured on Centric TV, Thisis50.com, Thehypemagazine.com, and hiphoblog.com.
Janelle LaSalle is also active in the Bay Area musical theatre scene having worked with such companies as Ray of Light Theatre, Berkeley Playhouse, New Conservatory Theatre Center, Palo Alto Players, Tabard Theatre, and Broadway by the Bay. Credits include Jesus in an all-female production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” (TBA and SFBATCC Best Actress Nominee), Belle in “Beauty and the Beast”, Velma Kelly is “Chicago”, Deena Jones in “Dreamgirls”, Gary Coleman in “Avenue Q”, and Felicia in “Memphis” (TBA Award Nominee).
Janelle is currently signed to NYLO Model & Talent Agency and continues to perform at various local venues, festivals, theatre companies, and private events.
